Katniss Everdeen

I'm off to Spain for two weeks tomorrow so I will have to make do with all the lovely sun rather that go on the internet all day and night. I'm also going to finish the Hunger Games trilogy while I'm away. Since finishing the first book I've drawn many different versions of the main character Katniss Everdeen, and here's my most recent attempt.

Warrior Lady!

It's been far too long since I uploaded anything here. All it took was an afternoon of no internet to drive me back here. I've been drawing bits and pieces over the last few weeks and I had forgotten how time consuming colouring can be.

I've got lots more to come but for now I have a Warrior Lady! I have no other way to describe her..

Glowing Super Monkey Lady

I've been working pretty full on recently, and alas, blogging has taken a back seat. I made some pretty decent progress today so I decided to dip into the backlog of doodles that have amassed recently and colour some.

I was watching a live stream from WETA last night about the new Planet of the Apes film, and found myself doodling a mad monkey.

This is a drawing I've had lying around for a while. I had an epic day of animating so I wanted to get away from all that and do something new. This isn't far off a character I designed in the Summer before I came up with Bubblegum Girl, she might resurface after I've graduated as a side project. So watch this space...

Doc Ock

This has been my project throughout the day to distract me from work. I'm pretty pleased with how it came out, it just took way longer than I thought it would to colour.
